New FJ Green Companions launched

Faragher Jones is proud to announce the launch of a fabulous new-look Bath & North East Somerset Green Companion and a brand-new Bristol Green Companion.

With illustrations and cover by Bristol artist Andy Council, the Companions are authoritative directories of environmentally friendly goods and services available both locally and online. They are delivered free to thousands of homes and are available at many green outlets.

With the help of a bright redesign, the Companions make it easy for Bath and Bristol people to find out where they can get anything from locally and organically produced food to solar panelling, ground source heat pumps, recycled furniture, natural baby products and much more. The Companions are also packed with information about how to get involved with all sorts of local green groups, from organic gardening clubs to campaigning organisations.

Now in its third year the Bath & North East Somerset Green Companion has been warmly received by readers, sponsors and advertisers alike. And now everyone at Faragher Jones is really excited to be expanding the project with an edition for the huge city of Bristol.

Publisher Steve Faragher said: “A key part of the ethical strand of our business. The Bath & North East Somerset Green Companion is one on the best things we do. To now be also producing one for Bristol is fantastic. The feedback we’ve received about it has been great and we hope that it’s going to be every bit as successful as the Bath Companion.”
